Considering prospects of adding height to the present 10-foot East Jefferson lakefront levees, considered to be seven feet below immediate needs, are Jefferson Parish Council chairman Charles J. Eagan, Jr., Pontchartrain Levee Board president Robert R. Faucheux, US Rep. Hale Boggs, St. Charles Parish Sheriff John O. St. Amant and District Engineer Col Thomas E. Bowen. Another meeting on the subject has been called for Friday at the Hilton Inn.
