A West Bank businessman was one of three national AMVET officers who recently presented the organization's annual peace award to Pope John Paul II. Robert Martin of Harvey, an AMVET national executive committeeman, was chosen as one of three officials of the veterans' service organization to present the group's Silver Helmet award to the pope at Vatican.
