Discussing pageant schedules with Valerie Oustalet (right) Miss Greater New Orleans for 1965, are (from left) Jim Scalise, executive director of the 1966 Miss Greater New Orleans Pageant; Miss Gloria Sandoz, Miss Oustalet's chaperone; and Jack Savage, vice-president of the New Orleans Junior Chamber of Commerce, sponsors of the local pageant. Miss Oustalet will leave early Wednesday for Monroe, where she will participate in the Miss Louisiana Pageant Thursday through Saturday. Should she win the title, she will compete in the Miss America Pageant in Atlantic City, N.J., in early September.
