Description
A model demonstrates the new Radarange microwave oven by Amana. "If you can set an alarm clock," according to Amana officials, you can operate Amana Refrigeration, Inc.s new "Radarange" (R) microwave oven, the firm's portable, counte-top oven that cooks meals in minutes and seconds, instead of hours. Here, model demonstrates: (1) Place food in oven. (2) Set timer for proper cooking time. (3) Press starts switch. (4) Remove food when timer light goes out. Amana says the unit will bake a potato in 4 minutes; cook a hamburger in 60 seconds; or cook a 5 pound roast in 37 1/2 minutes.

Photo is dated 1973.

Photo measures 10 x 8.25 inches.
