David Hackney received an award Saturday from Cecil Haskins, chief of the audit division of the Internal Revenue Service, at ceremonies at the U. S. Coast Guard Base, 4640 Urquhart. Hackney, former chief of the conference staff with the IRS here, received the Albert Gallatin Award for meritorious service. He retired after 34 years with the service.
