1967 Press Photo Mrs. Folse & others check decoration sketche of Beaux Arts Ball

Two Tulane University School of Architecture students check preliminary sketches of the decorations to be used for the Beaux Arts Ball, November 3, with Mrs. Roy Folse, chairman of the decorations committee of the woman's auxiliary to the New Orleans chapter of the American Institute of Architects, sponsors of the ball. Students are Malcom W. Hurt, center and Timothy J. Trapolin. Theme of this year's ball, which will be depicted by the decorations is "Decibillia"--a newly-coined word for sound. Proceeds of the ball, which will be held at the Roosevelt Hotel, will go toward a travel scholarship in the Tulane School of Architecture which is awarded each year to a fourth-year student for high scholastic achievement.
