Description
Mayor Moon Landrieu addresses a gathering estimated at 5,000 people during Inauguration ceremonies Monday at City Hall. Many also peered out of City Hall windows at the ceremonies, during which 12 parochial officials and Chief Administrative Officer Richard Kernion were sworn in along with Landrieu. The second four years of Mayor Moon Landrieu's administration began on much the same note that the first four did. The mayor, his handsome family and lovely wife beaming with pride on the platform in front of City Hall Monday, reminded the crowd: "Today is the first day of the rest of our lives."

Photo is dated 1974.

Photo measures 10 x 8.25 inches.
