1967 Press Photo Last Rites given to Willie Collins- drowned at Auduborn Park

Last Rites are administered to Willie Collins, who drowned Sunday afternoon in the Auduborn Park lagoon near St. Charles ave., by the Rev. J.A. Yenni, S.J., of Loyola University. Police said the victim was apparently attempting to change places in a rented park skiff when it tipped over, dumping him and five other occupants into the lagoon. The Collins boy was found an hour after the mishap by police department drivers.
