1969 Press Photo Lasso vom Tollensestrand, American Kennel Club Champion

Mr. Frank S. Oliveri of 572 Smith Drive, Metairie, has recently received notification from the American Kennel Club of the Championship status of his beautiful German Shepherd Lasso vom Tollensestrand, shown above with his handler, Bob Denton. Champion Lasso was imported by Oliveri last fall and finished his championship in only four shows earning three majors over less than a two month period. His proud owner says he can next be seen in this area in the German Shepherd Dog Club of Louisiana's Spring Speciality Show on May 3 at Metairie Playground
