Dr. Carl H. Brans Loyola University. Awarded grant for research. The laboratory of a Loyola university scientist consists of only three things. A pencil, paper and his mind. With these things and knowledge of the works of other mathmatician and physicits, Dr. Carl H. Brans, research physicist, is projecting the application of new mathematical methods to Einstein's theory of relativity.
