1937 Press Photo Substitute Postal Clerks Receive Census Instructions

Description
Substitute postal clerks who will handle unemployment census returns for all of New York state are attending a class for the instruction in handling and checking of the forms after they are returned to the Post Office. The photo shows a general view of the class with Postmaster Albert Goldman of New York City giving instructions to a clerk. The photo was made at the General Post Office in New York City where the check will be made.
