Shown is Madame Clemenceau-Jacquemaire, daughter of France's war premier, who is in this country on a lecture tour for the benefit of one of the French reconstruction agencies. She has been warmly welcomed in Washington both officially and unofficially, for her mother was an American woman and Madame Jacquemaire's war work was of the kind which has excited the admiration of all who have heard her story. Her only son was a soldier and she worked for five years in the hospitals.
