Description
Serious alarm has been felt at the continuance of the gale which has now been raging for two days on the south coast. The town of Seaford was cut off at high tide, when waves broke over the main shore road, making it impassable. Passengers were panic stricken on the omnibus as the waves swamped them in their dash through the water.
