Description
For six years, three drivers for a Chicago trucking concern piloted their vehicles a total of 1,125,000 miles without a single accident, each operating his truck 375,000 miles during this period. For their outstanding contribution to safety on the highways, each driver received a "No Accident Driver Award" from the National Safety Council. The company presented them with gold watches. Walter F. Muelady (right), company president, extends congratulations to the drivers, left to right: Calvin Stoefregen of Glen Ellyn, Illinois; John Hoffman of Decatur, Illinois; and Alford Lindstrom of Chicago.
