Description
Pasadena, California - A pair of youthful "corrigans," Roderic Edson and Frances Lee Heck (left) both 20, who started out to a dance in Kansas City and wound up in Pasadena after driving steadily from the time they left their homes. Although it was romance that caused the unscheduled junket, it was not romance between Miss Heck and Edson, but between Edson and Betty Piper, 17, who left Kansas City four months ago with her parents to make her home here, Miss Heck, a friend of both, went along for the ride. She is expecting her mother, Mrs. Ross Heck, to take her home in a few days. Miss Piper is shown at the right as she welcomed the pair at her home.

Photo is dated 1938.

Photo measures 7 x 9.25 inches.
