This is what the interior of the 5,200,000 - volt surge voltage generator in the Westinghouse Electric Corporation test center at Sharon, PA, looks like. It is used as a development tool for testing new insulation structure of various materials and configurations. Photo shows: Floyd Shuffstall, checking the generator in this "valley of voltage".
