1935 Press Photo Alice Ellen Mary and John LaValle in House Fire in Boston

Description
As a result of a fire in their home on Marlborough Street, one of these children is dead, two others are feared dying at Boston City Hospital, and a fourth is injured. Standing is John LaValle, Jr., 10, suffering from burns and smoke. Seated on ground is Mary D. LaValle, 11, now in critical condition. Together in chair are Alice Lorrraine LaValle, 14, who lost her life, and Ellen Elaine Lavalle, 6, who also may die. They are the children of John LaValle, noted portrait painter. Besides loss of his daughter's life, two servants were killed and his aged mother in the fire.
