Description
After learning of the shortage of bridal gowns in Middle Eastern Countries the Foreign Division of the YWCA got busy and gathered a number of wedding dresses for shipment to Lebanon Greece and Turkey. Their plan calls for renting the gowns to Brides To Be in those countries. YWCA clubs in the area are able to purchase club equipment from the proceeds of the rentals. Here meeting in New York to help launch the program Mrs Frances Grigoriadis a volunteer worker from the YWCA at Athens Greece models one of the gowns. Receiving a dress for Labanon is Siham Bustani of Beirut. Representing the US YWCA is Jane Morrell.
