Dr Arthur S Abramson, paraplegic veteran of World War II and now a physician on the staff of Veteran's Hospital, the Bronx, receives a citation, Oct 5, as "New York's Disabled Man of the Year" awarded by the New York City Sponsoring Committee for National Employ the Physically Handicapped Week.With both legs paralyzed from wounds received in the Battle of the Bulge, Dr Abramson a surgeon, restrained himself as a specialist in medical rehabilitation and last year directed a service that gave medical care to more than 20000 veterans.
