New York, N.Y.-- A member of the crew of the U.S. Liner President Harding stands in between lifeboat davits on deck of the U.S. Liner President Harding, from which a lifeboat was wrenched by a gigantic wave which crashed over the ship, doing other damage, and injuring 73-passengers and crew members. 27 of them severely. The liner arrived in New York today, Oct. 21, after riding out the 110-Mile-Hurricane,. The eventful voyage also was featured by the rescue of the 26 survivors of the torpedoed British Merchant Vessel, Heronspool.
