MAX HAAS OF THE BRONX NYC EXHIBITS BURNS THAT RESULTED WHEN THE METAL FRAMES OF HIS GLASSES AND THE WRIST BAND OF HIS WATCHED WERE MELTED BY LIGHTNING WHICH STRUCK HIM DURING LAST NIGHT'S (JULY 11) ELECTRIC STORM. HAAS, WALKING HOME AT 9:00PM NOTED AND IRON RAIL AND A TREE ON OPPOSITE SIDES OF THE STREET AND REMARKED TO HIMSELF "BOY! WHAT A SPOT FOR LIGHTNING" THEN IT STRUCK AND HE WOKE UP IN A POLICE STATION LITTLE WORSE FOR HIS EXPERIENCE.
