Description
Lieut Commander T.G. W.Seattle U.S.N and Major Chester L. Fordney who are to make an assent into the stratosphere form Chicago. Hope to land within easy traveling distance of a large city, but in the event they are blown into the wilds of Canada two lightweight emergency kits that they are taking with them will be valuable. Major Fordney is shown above with gloves, canteen, mess kit, fishing shoves, flying gloves, water proof match box and an oxygen Lung for use in the event they must open their Gondola while in a rarified atmosphere
