Washington When Gen Dwight D Eisenhower made his recent report to the nation on his European tour,the TV cameras carried the speech into American homes. What video audience saw appeared to be a smooth performance.. It looked as if General had either memorized his report or was making it up as he went along. Actually Ike was reading his address from large cards placed under the TV cameras. Above this is what the public saw as Gen Eisenhower delivered his speech.
