Leading the way over an obstacle course, First Sgt. Stonewall Jackson, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Jackson of Burgaw, NC today at the Army Air Forces Training Command radio school at Scott Field, Ill., serves as topkick for the Eighth Base Headquarters and Air Base Squadron. Jackson, though proud of his famous name, is no relation to the Confederate general. He's been in the army 14 years, used to handle tanks for the infantry and later was an observer on captive and free observation balloons when he transferred to the Air Corps.
