Description
Glasgow, Scotland -- Glasgow suffered its first real "blitz" attack of the war when hundreds of German raiders bombed seaports all around northern England and in western Scotland during the night with unprecedented fury, striking at the points where Britain's supplies from overseas are unloaded and the shipyards where vessels are built to carry them. Above is a street scene in the city.

Photo is dated 1941.

Photo measures 9 x 7.25 inches.
