Prisoner of war repatriate Pfc. Herman Smith of Louise, Ky., is carried off the Freedom Flight plane here. Smith managed a weak smile and a wave at the hula girls who were on hand to dance for the returning POW's as he was carried from from the plane to a waiting ambulance.
