Dr. Leonard Pellecchia and Nurse Lucille Plott, as they arrive at the airport in car driven by a Red Cross Motor Corps driver. The Red Cross Air Corps is the first of its kind in the country and will be used in times of major disasters to transport doctors, nurses and first aid supplies to the scene. These pictures were taken at Newark Airport, N.J.
