Despite the strenuous efforts for a settlement now being made by Mr. Neville Chamberlain, the British Prime Minister, Czechoslovakia is determined not to be taken unawares should the worst happen and she should find herself engaged in hostilities. These pictures, just received from a staff representative, show how Prague, the capital, is being ringed by well-equipped troops who will be charged with the defence of the city in the e vent-of an invasion. PHOTO SHOWS:- Czechoslovak soldiers buying snacks from a vendor as they went to take up their position in the countryside near Prague.
