Description
In Canadian internment camps, where large numbers of prisoners have been confined since their removal from Great Britain, internees are allowed to carry out all the routine of their prison, including cooking, cleaning and the general upkeep of their quarters. In this photograph, a German prisoner is cutting the hair of one of his companions in the camp barber shop.

Photo is dated 1940.
