Description
Other cities may moan about their rush hour traffic problems, but here is photographic proof that no place can top Tokyo, Japan for crushing crowds of commuters. Every day, scene like this are repeated on suburban railway platforms as travelers fight to get aboard the jampacked cars, leaving behind broken windows, exhausted railroads guards, and sometimes even some of their clothing and shoes. The crush is so great that railways hire men whose sole job is to shove and push passenger into the packed card so that the doors can be closed.
