Britain manufactured a little larger than a cigarette pack radio transmitter and receiving set named Tele-radio. Tiny tubes have been adapted from those who used in radar-controlled shell during the war. In the photo is Michael Kasia, the inventor who has spent 16 years experimenting with radio equipment, operating the equipment. The bottom photo is a close up of the set tele-radio.

Photo is dated 1947.
