Hubert Humphrey - Senator Hubert Humphrey (left), the first registered pharmacist ever nominated on a national political party ticket, poured tranquilizers from a large bottle into a smaller one white behind the prescription counter in the Humphrey family drugstore at Huron, South Dakota. His brother, Ralph, watched his demonstration for newsmen.
