Even Mascot Taffy got into this picture outside the Sparta fire station. Members of Erv Edwards's Rural Fire fighters, shown with their equipment, are (from left) Bob Frisch, Chief Ervis Edwards, Captain Omer Wilhelmsen, Assistant Chief Bill Lahm, Don Sullivan, Bill Miller, Captain Dave Sullivan and Walt Riley Jr. Not present was Norman Rasmussen.
