Description
Govs. William Scranton (left) of Pennsylvania and George Romney of Michigan exchange close-range comments in Denver yesterday after they and other GOP governors released an all-purpose party policy statement that won unanimous approval of the state chief executive conference. The two governors joined Gov. Nelson Rockefeller of New York later in saying they view the statement as a clear call for the removal of controversial GOP National Chairman Dean Burch, although he was not specifically mentioned.
