Archbishop Rembert Weakland followed a procession of clergy up the aisle before he celebrated a solemn mass of thanksgiving Saturday in honor of the 100th anniversary of the congregation of St. Josaphat Basilica, 601 West Lincoln Avenue. The congregation was started by Polish immigrants in 1888. The church, a scaled-down version of St. Peter's in Rome, is Milwaukee's largest.
