1982 Press Photo IBM Technician adjusts computer storage system, Tucson, Arizona

Description
An IBM technician in Tucson, Ariz., adjusted a 3850 Mass Storage System, which stores up to 472 billion characters of information on cartridges in a honeycomb of cells. The system can store information equivalent to about 27 million newspaper pages.
