In his first starring role in movies, Edward G. Robinson played the title role of "Rico" in "Little Caesar" (left). In his 101st (right), he was "Sol Roth" in "Soylent Green." In his autobiography, "All My Yesterdays" (Hawthorn), written with Leonard Spigelgass, Robinson recalls how he'd try to sell himself early in his stage career.
