1965 Press Photo Pelicans from India flap wings at London's St. James Park

Description
These pelicans flapped their wings after being released in London's St. James Park. The birds were a gift from the ameer of Bahawalpur, India. A tradition of keeping pelicans in the park can be traced back to the reign of Charles II

Photo is dated 1965.
