Description
The appearance of Senator Edmund S. Muskie in Milwaukee Tuesday brought about the rare appearance of Mayor Maier and Rep. Henry Reuss on the same platform at the Pfister hotel. The mayor and Reuss, who were opponents in the 1960 mayoral campaign, have been at odds since then. Muskie (left) was campaigning as the Democratic vice-presidential nominee.
