1984 Press Photo Senior Citizens Paint Mural on Wall of Northwest Senior Center

Senior citizens worked on a mural they are creating for a wall of the Northwest Senior Center, 7717 West Good Hope Road. The mural was created as part of a project sponsored by Artreach Milwaukee with a grant from the Faye McBeath Foundation. Left: Artist/director Esterly Allen (right) supervised the mixing of paints as artists (from left) Rose Karpinski, Hildegarde Von Baumgarten, Lea Lo Re and Helene Bachmann got ready to go to work. The 12-by-16-foot mural is mounted on a wall of the center's activity room. It will be dedicated at ceremonies March 27. Wisconsin.
