John H. Fitzgerald, 72, helped clear the sidewalks at Riverwood, where he rents one of the 94 apartments in a development for the elderly at 1200 E. Singer Circle. With their own social center, their own commissary and interests ranging from plant care to music, the 117 residents of the private two story apartment building find no lack of social activities. Monthly parties also are part of their community lives.
