Weary miners, members of a rescue team probing the depths of the Barroteran (Mexico) coal mine, told of finding the badly bruised, scorched bodies of fellow miners as they returned to the surface for rest. Mine officials fear that more than 150 miners perished after a searing methane gas explosion. (Disasters- mines- foreign)
