Paul W. Mueller, president of Mueller Color Plate Company, prefers his spot among fellow craftsmen to his position behind a desk as leader of a multimillion dollar operation. Mueller launched the producer of color plates for printing in 1949. The operation currently employs more than 300 people at its headquarters facility, 2320 North 11th Street.
