Journal Receives Award - Newell Meyer (right), promotion manager for The Journal Company, accepted a plaque Thursday from Col. Albert G. Peter, chairman of the awards committee of the Milwauke chapter of the Reserve Officers association. The plaque cited The Milwaukee Journal for "continuing support of the significant role of the reservist in our national defense." The presentation was made at a dinner at the Miller Brewing Co.'s Miller Inn.
