David R. Anderson (right), president of Milsco Manufacturing Company, watched assembler Jim Lorbiecki work on a seat for a Harley-Davidson motorcycle. Anderson and Lorbiecki were participating in an open house over the weekend to celebrate the company's 65th anniversary. Milsco, at 9009 North 51th street, Brown Deer, was founded in 1824 as Milwaukee Saddlery Company to produce harness equipment for farmers. Today it supplies seating for the construction, turf care and office furniture industries. It also is the sole supplier of seats for Harley-Davidson motorcycles. Milsco has 250 employees.
