Leo Rakita. For a long time, he kept a clothes rack in his basement full of clothes he had collected to give to immigrants. He has been active in the Jewish community, won awards, and has helped bring families out of the Soviet Union, including the first Russian family to settle in the state after the start of the Cold War. Rakita told stories full of bloodshed and tears. He told stories full of hard work, success and humor. Milwaukee
