1954 Press Photo Fred Loocke and others plan Boys' Clubs of America convention

Preliminary plans for a national convention of the Boys' Clubs of America, scheduled in Milwaukee in May, 1955, were mapped at a luncheon meeting of Boys' Club officials Thursday at the Wisconsin Club. Planners included (from left): Irving J. Seher, executive director of the Milwaukee Boys' Club; Edward W. Pastore, New York, convention manager of the national group; Edwin VanBilliard, Chicago, regional director, and Fred F. Loocke, president of the board of directors of the Milwaukee Boys' Club.

Photo is dated 1954.
