County vehicle destroyedâAn explosion destroyed a county emergency government trailer Saturday morning at Dodge City, 4640 S 27th St. The trailer was parked behind the dealership when the explosion occurred shortly before 8:30 am. No one was injured. The trailer, which the Sheriff's Department also used as mobile a command center, had been at Dodge City for air-conditioning and refrigeration repairs. Fire officials said liquid petroleum fuel leaking from a tank on the trailer was ignited by a pilot light inside. The 32-foot trailer was valued at $15,000. Disasters-explosion-Milwaukee.
