1962 Press Photo Swiss costumes from the public museum, Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Contemporary costumes from Switzerland have been added to the school loan service of the public museum, Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Thomas Hanson, 9, wore the boy's costume, from Bern, and carried a cross bow. The girl's costume, from Lucerne, was worn by Debra Bell, 6. The costumes and other material were obtained by Edith H. Quade, the museum's curator of education, on a viit to Europe. Materials from the loan service supplements the educational programs in the schools.

Photo is dated 1962.
