Description
The city news room of the New York Herald Tribune will not be used again. All that remains is a dustroom and stacks of litter pails, left behind when the vital desks and typewriters were moved out, following the merger of the tribune with two other New York papers. But the 114 day strike that followed took its toll and it was announced August 15th that the tribune will not publish again.
